Our Purpose and History of the Association

The Chicago North Shore Alumnae Panhellenic is alligned with the National Panhellenic Conference, one of the largest organizations advocating for women. Delegates from area member sororites unite with the common goals
of philanthropy and community service. We have sponsored 12 annual Scholarship Dinner Benefits, awarding monetary assitance to outstanding area high school senior women who will attend a college or university with
NPC sorority affiliations.

We have routinely awarded grants to select Northwestern women to attend the Undergraduate Interfraternity Leadership Conference. Plus, we sponsor The Sorority Life, an informational event for high school seniors and
their families to learn more about the recruitment process and rewarding sorority experience.

A few years ago, the chairman of our association, Ann Marr, created our chapter to give everyone the opportunity
to meet new people, give back, and share ideas in a constructive manner. The Association quickly turned into an important part of our members' lives!
